Rule 77
Basic Salary
(1) The basic salary of a worker in functional employment will be equal to sixty percent of the average monthly salary of the three months he has been employed.
(2) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-rule (1), the basic wage determined in accordance with this rule shall not be less than the minimum wage determined by the Government of Nepal in accordance with the Act.
(3) If the basic wage of a worker in an employment is not determined, the amount usually equal to sixty percent of the wages received by such worker shall be considered as the basic wage for such employment.
